What Does a Game Designer Do?
Game designer; They are the people who take part in the entire process of designing games played in digital environments and then meeting them with the user. Those who practice this increasingly popular profession do all of the programming, design, animation or art work of a game.
What are the Duties and Responsibilities of the Game Designer?
The main duties of game designers who code games for game consoles, arcade games, social/online games, personal computers, mobile phones and tablets are as follows:
Shaping future projects with creative ideas,
Working with animation and modeling departments,
Designing the tasks and puzzles in the game,
Collaborating with sound engineers and artists to achieve the desired image and sound format,
Planning game flow charts, screenshots.
You also need to be a great communicator who can clearly convey a story or message that engages your player and motivates them to take action. You need to learn how to express simple ideas, how to persuade people with your ideas, and how to give and receive feedback.
It’s really more important to be able to implement these ideas and do them well. You need to learn not just to have an idea, but how to validate your ideas and express them to your teammates who will help you create them with any constraints you may encounter over time. At the end of the day, the product needs to make money.

Understanding how to develop game systems, the theory of what makes fun, and how all these systems work together is the most basic requirement for becoming a Game Designer.
Not every designer will have super technical knowledge, but to lead most teams you need a strong background in some basic aspects of technical game design and programming.
Along with technical skills, you must be an excellent storyteller with some artistic talent.
